Darla
K. Vance, M.S., OTR/L
Together Darla Vance and Valerie Pieraccini have 34 years of experience working with children. Darla Vance graduated from DePauw University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1988, and from Western Michigan with a master’s degree in occupational therapy in 1990. Darla has been active in the pediatric field in a variety of settings, and has been a speaker at national conventions discussing sensory integration issues.
Valerie Pieraccini graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy in 1988. She has worked in pediatrics for most of her career. She obtained her certificate to administer the Sensory Integration Praxis Test in 1995. She has written various articles and lectured in the United States and Canada on hand skills.
Darla and Valerie both presently live in Phoenix, Arizona and work at United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona.
